Nearly Xmas

Well ladies  are you ready for the big day pressies bought and wrapped up cards wrote and posted ? I am just about there myself. I have one more craft fair to do that is this saturday at Budleigh Salterton, then my work room will be semi closed until new year. I will still be working but working out new designs for 2012.

Remember you can still buy on web site or visit Busy Lizzies Plant and craft shop at Newton Poppleford.

Plus shows for next year are starting to come in thick and fast, I will place them on web site for you all to note, hopefully some new ones next year as well.

Last week i went to Bath xmas shopping with two dear friends I have never been there befor but ladies you must go it was lovely all the wooden huts filled with gifts galore and all the smells of foods and mulled wine it was a true xmas shopping event with all there lights glowing above, you must visit a shop called December 25th it was just full of xmas decorations in every colour.

Any way ladies may i take this oppertunity to say a huge THANK YOU to all my customers this year, for making 2011 a successful  year for Lynda Joy Designs and look forward to meeting you all in 2012.

Well web site up and ready, all thanks to a dear friend, now i just need to keep in touch with you all with my blog. I just hope i get better each time with what you would like to hear, so please do keep logging in.

Any way i was pleased the clocks went back saturday i needed the extra hour, i bet you all had your own uses for that hour (please keep it clean!!!)  i am so busy makeing i stayed up to 1am sad i know but the bags were following.

This weekend i am at a fashion show at Kents Cavern Torquay Friday evening 7pm - 10pm should be different as we are in the caves i think! i will let you know next week what it was like.
Saturday 10am - 4pm i am doing a craft show at Ashburtons Town Hall, it's the first time i have been to Ashburton, come along and start your xmas shopping there will be some great crafts there and paintings by Roger Hann  Woodturning , and you will be able to get all your card and paper crafting supplies from Mishelflo Creative Craftying.  Come along an d meet us all. Then on Sunday i am at Lyme Regus.

This is why i am so busy makeing all new stock.

Please remember i am at West Point Xmas Shopping Fair the end of November.

Nearly there

Well we are nearly there, the new web site is having new stock put on including a few from my new winter collection.

As time goes on more and more will be added so you will have a great selection to pick from.

We are using paypal so everyone will know what to do.

While i am building up the web range if there is not quite the right colour you can always contact me by e-mail or check out my events diary and come along, it would be great to meet all my customers.

Totnes Show

Sunday 25th July

Lynda Joy Designs landed at the Totnes show today and all i can say is THANK YOU Totnes everyone made me so welcome, and the weather well at it's best, people walking around like little beetroots !! mind you my hats where just the in thing needed.
My stall looked like a rainbow of colour as i had 18ft of space, even the men were stopping to look!!! hay ladies soon they will be telling you to buy a handbag and not the ( why do you need a new bag ???) that can't be bad.
I met the mayor and mayoress of Totnes what lovely people they are, The mayoress has joined our ladies today with a Bag and matching Hat, so look out for her at their functions she looked great.
Now the great news of the day ........ not meaning to boast but i won 1st prize for best trade stand and recieved a great Trophy, what a honour there was over 60 stands just in our marquee, It will go next to the Devon County Show award.

24th July MID DEVON SHOW

The sun popped it's head out for the day, what a difference. The show was great everyone walking around witha smile. In the craft marquee 40 stalls and what a mixture of crafts and all different. I had a fun day talking to so many nice people, and can only say thankyou to everyone for their kind comments. I even met customers from last year wearing their bags and wanting another and a matching hat. Sorry i hav'nt got any pictures i must remember now to take my camera everywhere, michelle a good friend and fellow crafter is always telling me to TAKE YOUR CAMERA . Anyway i must get on well day off today (monday)
